The Confusing Neoplasm Table – If You Are Using Codes from the Uncertain or Unspecified Column, You Are Probably Not Coding Correctly
11/04/2026 Live WebinarDescription
The Neoplasm table is made up of six columns that can be confusing. Although selecting from the primary and secondary columns may be easy to discern, the first question to be asked is should you be utilizing the neoplasm table at all? If you have a lump or mass that your provider is removing- what do you really know about it? Actually – NOTHING when it comes to cell type which is what the neoplasm table is all about.
If your provider is uncertain or their diagnosis is unspecified, the neoplasm table may not be the place you should be turning to.
